Centerpoint is improving gas lines in the street but Q3, in charge of Rodeway safety during the project, has failed miserably and totally by not placing "Caution Road Construction" signs nor "Reduced Speed Limit" signs along the route.

This morning, Saturday, at 8:30 am, a worker from PSC Q3 came by and POUNDED on my front door. I was sound asleep and practically stumbled to the front door thinking there was an emergency. I have a doorbell by the way which he did NOT use so I assumed there was some emergency warranting pounding on my vintage glass door. I opened the door and he said that he wanted to know my schedule for next week so that he could come back. What??!?!?! You pound on my door on a Saturday morning, waking my whole household now, to find out when I could be available next week???? I told him that was rude and he simply just looked at me with a weird calmness almost amused. He was NOT apologetic. Then he went to his truck (twice) to get me the phone number of his boss (Jeremy). I called his boss and HE did not care either...apparently the crew wanted to start at 7 am and were supposed to put hang tags on doors but he told them to start at 8. This was NOT a HANG TAG but a heavy hand pounding on my front door with urgency! I asked for Jeremy's boss and he said that he WAS the boss of this department. Jeremy went on to justify the whole thing because people never call them back, esp. if they have a delinquent account with Xcel. I explained that THIS was not THAT and he still just proceeded to justify why his guy woke us up. In addition, I have been dealing with their mess in my yard now for over a month, the fact that they destroyed my grass in three separate locations, and am positively disgusted with their lack of concern for people's schedules, their yards and now customer's sleep. I have already had to schedule time off to "be here" so that they could spend a 1/2 hour doing stuff in the basement; my 18 year old son has had to negotiate HIS schedule so that he could be here when they came back and now apparently I will have to take off more time for THEM. UGH. HORRIBLE COMPANY. If I could leave zero stars I would.

These people are very unprofessional! I received a call from my kids that one of them was pounding very loud on our door. I told my kids to not open it since they did not notify us about needing to come inside our home. About 30 minutes later, I got another call that these people came back and pounded on the door even harder and also kicking our front door. I could hear how loud it was on the phone. My kids were scared and freaking out. There wasn't an adult home so I called my sister in law to go over, but they had left. I came home to find out that they had also shut off our gas. These people should not be in business!

These guys are subcontracted by Counterpoint Energy when they do gas line updates. They will do a number on your street, especially if you have any landscaping or boulevard gardens. They are infamous for destroying plants, property and digging and filling the same holes again and again. If you see them in your neighborhood, take a lot of before and after photos, call your neighborhood rep and get ready for a huge pain in the ass because Centerpoint's way of dealing with this is to refer you BACK to Q3 , who seem to be unaccountable. Maybe if enough people complain this will change.

Please Beware as accidents have happened already because of Q3 contempt for public safety.

UPDATE: I had no heat as a result of this company messing with my pilot on my furnace. After calling Jeremy Gilbert multiple times for help he sent his guys back out. They literally glanced at my furnace and said the pilot was on...then left. I just hired a heating guy to come out who said that they did not PUSH THE BUTTON on the furnace to finish engaging the thermocouple. Apparently on the older furnace there is a two step process to relighting the pilot and they did NOT do this. In fact the heating guy was confused as to how my furnace got this way. The Q3 Consulting team turned off my pilot but did not know enough about relighting it...costing me $75!!!!

CRAZY RECKLESS negligence on the part of Q3!

They aren't worth my time to write a complaint. They are the gum on your shoe they are the squeaky floor board that you hate to step on. They screwed up my front lawn and my back newly seeded lawn by throwing throwing cement on it and walking through the seedlings. They hoped my fence and dragged mud through my house. When you see 3 20 something year olds on there phones throwing garage in the holes they dig you know this is a company that will not last but for now they are like a mosquito very annoying.
