Fantastic pizza and service. The crust is light with quality toppings. They also have a fun soda selection and Sebastian Joe’s icecream. It’s my go to pizza shop, pick up is faster than delivery. In the summer you can eat there outside.
If it's not pizza, and ice cream it's ribs, a salad and ice cream. If I can't find an ice cream flavor, there's a Dang that's good Butterscotch Root Beer float. Prices are reasonable. I Love this place
This small mom and pop pizza shop is tucked into a friendly neighborhood in Saint Paul, MN. The pizza is fantastic! The Ultimate specialty pizza won't disappoint! The crust isn't exactly "thin-crust" but it's lighter and perfectly baked so all the flavor of the ingredients are enjoyed! 5 stars!
I ordered pizza for a team holiday party. Called Maverick's the day before and, even though they typically open at 11am, they agreed to deliver at 11am to make the party. Sure enough they were right on time and the order was perfect. More importantly though, the team thought the pizza was great. Even the gluten free pizza was tasty. This was my first experience with Maverick's so I took a chance and they made me look good - thanks guys!
I've gotten takeout here three times now - Yum!! Perfect balance of crust, sauce, and toppings. Their homemade sausage has a hint of fennel, which I love. The crust was crisper on the personal size versus the large, so if you want crisp, scale down. The staff is also very friendly, and I like that you can see right into their very clean kitchen. Fun to watch, in case you have to wait a bit.
