There was no need to explore the options for Buddhist study further after we visited Clouds in Water Zen Center this spring. We felt comfortable and at peace immediately after we walked in. The facility itself is spacious and well-designed, especially the Zendo (gathering area) for Sunday meditation and service. The staff and clergy are all welcoming, gentle souls. There are so many classes and workshops designed to help develop your individual practice and to reach out to others with good work in the community that it's a tough choice on what to do first. This is THE spiritual place in the Twin Cities for those who are serious about transforming their lives through Zen.
