Extremely friendly people all around. Even on the weekends when the parking lot feels like a zoo (you can easily park in the neighborhood and walk across the street), it doesn't feel too crowded inside unless you're looking for a place to sit down and eat. Lots of good food stalls, including plenty of baked and frozen options to take home as well. Don't forget the produce market to try something new! Also, great place to stop for a quick take out dinner on a weekday evening.
definitely a must see if you are visting Minnesota. great place to get Hmong food and other amazingly fresh Asian foods. VERY affordable foods as well.
Great food and lots of small mom and pops store to buy merchandise from. They also have a fresh fruits and veggies area. A wonderful place to visit. They best time to visit is on Saturday and Sunday.
For the best experience go right when they open otherwise you'll be fighting to find a parking spot. Most of the food is fresh in the AM. It's good for MN winters when there's nothing else to do. Not a fan of American-Hmong food so I can't comment on that. All the food stands sell pretty much the same thing. Most stalls are cash only. Its not a real farmers market - most of the produce is bought from wholesalers and resold at the stands. Go for herbs - cheap and fresh.
Parking is crazy here. Vendors are nice and food is good if you go early on Saturday and Sunday. I'd give it 1 more star if the parking, entrance and exit wasn't so horrible.
