It is fun to spend an hour or two perusing the sections to find a keeper to take home.
Friendly, helpful staff with a large in-store selection of used books. Also sells new games, educational toys like science kits and a wide selection of small toys
Also, they have a big area for kids, and board games for adults. They host game nights and events of the sort.
When I first went into Sixth Chamber I was skeptical; and indeed there are many books, books spaced out on the floor or piled up because there simply isn't enough space for all the store is trying to convey. The furniture too has seen better days, but, there is this feeling when you walk in that you are transported to a time less hectic- it reminds me of an old fashioned library, where you have to work to find what you want, but it is extremely satisfying when that perfect book finds you.
This is a great little book shop with a nice selection. The people are very friendly and helpful.
TLDR: There is a shop dog who loves to be petted and the owner is extremely nice. Also, why are you going to a bookstore? Well, they have toys too....
