The park is great. Well maintained. But, when you do something right it is quite a busy place. That's the only reason I did not give five stars.
Battle Creek Regional Park contains the best dog park in the Twin Cities. The dog park contains three ponds and plenty of wooded trails to explore. The whole dog park is fenced in so even adventurous dogs are safe. It can get a little icy in the winter so I highly recommend wearing cleats. The rest of the park is wonderful as well with a great sledding hill, mountain bike trails, and walking paths.
Best dog park in the Twin Cities. Walkable trails that can get a little more difficult when icy. Lots of open space for the dogs to play and great "regulars" that look after the park.
Great place in neighborhood for summer fun, water games, to spend time with family and friends, for summer get together and barbecue party. Kids love this place.
Great for fall colors too.
This is one of my favorite dog parks in the cities! It's fairly large and kept clean, and the dogs and owners are always friendly. I love how shaded the trails are in the dog park, making it great on hot summer days for me and my pup!
