It was quick and easy to get an inspection done here. The person who I spoke to was very friendly and I was able to have a conversation with him despite them being relatively busy.

I stopped in for a vehicle inspection. Very friendly staff who are efficient and thorough. They'd forgotten to give me a form I needed and when I called back, the manager said to come on in & he even stayed open to wait for me. Little things like that'll make me stop back when I need service done.

My name is shoua. I was the senior tech at meineke. I no longer work for him due to his shady business practice. Same reason why he can't ever hold an advanced level tech. Chris is the owner. He and his service manager lance knows nothing about cars. We tell them what's wrong with the cars and the tell customers something totally different. I couldn't trust someone who has no knowledge with cars to handle my car. You wouldn't trust a receptionist to do open heart surgery on you, why would you trust a paper pusher to handle your car. The two of them will try and sell u anything, trying to get every little penny out of you they can. Chris doesn't care about his employees. He makes them work in freezing temperatures. I will also be reporting his unsafe work conditions to O.S.H.A. If he doesn't even care about the people making him money, do you really think he cares about you?! I don't think so. They will make u pay, even if they can't figure out the problem, even when they put in new parts and it wasn't the fix to your problem, they'll still charge u. You take your car in so they can find the problem. So if the problem wasn't corrected, that's not your problem. It's their job to find the problem. That's why you take your car to the shop, not for them to throw parts at it hoping it'll fix the problem. They told a customer changing out a sensor will fix the problem. They got the ok for the job. It didn't fix the problem. Customer was still charged. That's just wrong. It was them who told the customer that the sensor was the issue. So why are they not owning the situation?! They will tell you they have to start with a diagnostic, and that if u decide to fix the issue after the diagnostic, they will wave they diagnostic fee. That is a lie! They work the cost of diagnostic into the cost of parts or the labor! U should always get more than one expert opinion from more than one shop when it comes to expensive repairs. But never tell the next shop you already had your car looked at by another shop. Just some secrets shops don't want you to know. If you listen closely to how lance and Chris tries to explain things to you, you can tell they don't know what they are talking about! They both use a lot of filler words trying to beat around the bush. Try asking lance what a intake valve is or what it does. We won't be able to tell you. He claims he's been in the business for over 9 years. I call B.S. 9 years you should know what an intake valve is! This shop wont last long. There are other shops on univeristy that has been around for decades. They can beat chris's prices anyday and they are reputable. Shop around before you give your hars earned money to this shop. If you go in for an oil change, they will try and sell you on the most expensive oil package. Chris is a vet and claims he cares for his fellow vets. Then explain why he wouldn't pass out the free vouchers provided by Meineke corporate to give out on veterans day! Because he cares more about money than he does his own fellow vets. I hope this will help open up your eyes and steer away from corporations. Your are only paying for the name not the service. Any small shop can do anythi g they cam do and more! And if he tries to sell you a tranmission flush, dont go for it. He doesn't even have a transmission crush machine! Find a good shop and get to know your mechanic just like you know your doctor and stick to one mechanic. Shop throwing your money away on cooperate shops. Support your local small business. Let's keep our money in our community. Meineke is a corporate name and they are all about sales sales sales and sales! One last thing, dont let your women walk into his shop. He looks at them like they are eye candy and then goes to the back and talk about how hot the customer is!!!!! Good luck to all. Don't get robbed by Chris!

I always take my car to this location and have never had a bad experience. I have had several problems with my car so I am a pretty regular customer. Lance always takes great care of me and tries to help me get the best prices for parts. He gives excellent customer service even on days when it gets busy. The owner also knows me and makes sure everythingis good on my Chevy Impala. I definitely recommend this place!

I've had a single cat replaced for about $250 at other Meineke locations this one wanted to charge me $650 for a single cat replacement. The guy that I talk to I guess his name was Chris has called me several times and wanted to argue about stuff I don't know really bad experience at this Meineke. I went to the Burnsville store and John Wood and Joe White change both my catalytic converters for 300 per hour shop time which is a little bit High doubles going rain but they were willing to get it done right away on Saturday so fairly good experience I brought my own catalytic converters and they did both of them down in Burnsville for $300. and got me back in operation. I definitely advise against using Midas but if you're going to use Meineke go to Burnsville to have a much better operation going.
