I have brought 2 dogs in for grooming in 2017. Both received excellent grooming. Service was same-day, exceptionally quick, and the groomer I saw was skilled and confident. Not a bargain, prices are normal for the area. The dog park on the north side of the Saints stadium is just 2 blocks away, on Broadway, so your dog can run off-leash after a stressful grooming session! The Saint Paul location is near about 10 high-rise residential buildings which allow dogs, so dogs are always walking around the neighborhood.

This was our first visit to DFD; we have previously used another groomer who was booked up. Our dog looks better than she EVER has—fantastic cut and friendly service. I really felt our dog was in capable hands. We will definitely be returning customers.
Ann, the owner, is amazing and kind. I highly recommend her puppy playtime on Saturdays at 11am. She doesn't turn away older dogs and if you call an hour before, she'll let you know what ages and sizes she expects. During playtime she'll teach you how to interpret your dogs social signals and that's been very valuable as my dog and I have started going to dog parks. Now I know when I need to call my dog away from an interaction.
Lisa is AMAZING. She took my rambunctious but shy dobe pup on basically no notice, and found him some good buddies to play with. This place is not like other daycares, where there is chaos running rampant, and rude/pushy dogs all around. They are separated by size, play-style and age, and there are never too many dogs together. My boy has gone from a timid, stressed baby around other dogs to a happy, confident playmate to all kinds of dogs. Lisa has told me that he will also crate himself when he needs a break, which is something he hasn't done even at home. I definitely will give her some credit for his great crate training! I would leave my pup with her any day, although I think maybe she wouldn't want to give him back :) he is a little cutie. Lisa, Radar will be back soon!
I have a 13 year old dog who is in great shape but has started with arthritis. I have been giving him omega 3 oil and glucosamine/chondrotin with some improvement. As recommended by the owner of the store I tried their all natural imported dog food. Besides loving the food my dog has no more limp and I don't need to give him supplements. I also had his nails trimmed there and she did a great job. I have not tried the day care but will if I need it. All the dogs seem very happy there.
