We were unable to take photos, only when the tour lady said we could which was one time. We stood in 2 rooms in addition to the lobby of the theater without moving, which was hard on our feet and backs.
Extremely disappointing, will not return.
I felt this was a waste of my money and time. I invited 2 friends and they agreed. The woman who gave the tour talked too much. We visited 2 rooms - the theater and the projector room. No paranormal activity was seen or heard. The people directing the tour did not provide enough light for the stairs and my friend almost fell down the stairs.
Looks like a great little theater venue with a nice decor and feel to the space.
Saw a Klingon Christmas Carol here. The theater is nice. Having star trek themed drinks was an added bonus.
I was so SO excited to go to the 1 hour Haunted Tour tonight at this theater. I had always heard the theater was haunted. I went to the Wabasha Street Caves last weekend and it was superb but I thought this tour would be so much better. Boy, was I wrong. **The Wabasha Street Caves Haunted Tour was half the price and extraordinary!!! - a MUST SEE**
The 1 hour tour was spend with our guide talking the majority of the time (95%) - she even made a comment that she was talking too much, as she always does.
Parking is a bit of a problem, but I enjoyed the theatre while I was there to watch the Klingon Christmas Carol. The consession stand sells popcorn, a variety of pops, and and included mixed drinks, wine, and beer. The theatre was unique in that it had tables right next to the stage, and then regular seats right after that. Nothing creepy happened there as it's known for being haunted, but that was only while I was there for the show. Would definitely go again to see another show.
This is a phenomenal theatre! Tucked out of the way you might not realize that this theater hosts legendary plays, such as The Klingon Christmas Carol. The staff is genuine, friendly, warm hearted, and truly dedicated to the community. If you haven't visited Mounds Theatre, you really should!
