We love the Oakdale police they are always helpful and kind even if you do a California stop
Crime in Oakdale is increasing while the population is in a slow but steady decline. The city has a part 1 clearance rate of 29%, that's pathetic. Even worse is that part 2 crime clearance is 3 a mere 34% and that's declining. Im writing this review because I was stopped in the early morning by an Oakdale Police officer for rolling a stop sign on public property in a parking lot... LOL. They NEED your money and will extort and abuse you to get it, but if you are a victim of a crime in Oakdale, you'd be hard pressed to get any help, much less a proper resolution. I would never move to this town because the leadership is obliviously ineffective, lazy and over the hill.
Oakdale police are morons and racist guilty till proven innocent
P.S. - The officer was rude and arrogant and shined his flashlight in my eyes for the duration of the encounter.
