Our son Sam recently joined the Minnesota Special Hockey League and a friend recommended us to go to Strauss Skates to get his hockey equipment. Moose, Chris and staff were beyond helpful, they made sure that Sam was the focal point. They took their time and explained everything so that Sam was comfortable and taken care of. They provided top notch customer service and went above and beyond! We would highly recommend them! Thank you guys for the great experience!

Very disappointing service. Drove over from Wi. Spent 2 hours in the store, mainly waiting for the salesman wait on other customers who came in after us. Then he completely ignored us while he ate his lunch at the front counter and visited with people in that area. A nice young man finally came out with the skates that were being sharpened in the back-he Even said he found them sitting back there. Was also quoted various prices from the salesman. Very unprofessional and wasted a lot of our valuable time . I do not recommend anyone to do business with the shop. If anyone else was a salesperson working there it didn't show.
These folks are the best in the business. There is a reason they have been in business for so long. I would like to write about all the times the folks (and it is not just one person, but all of them) have gone way above and beyond for me, and my kids, but you probably would not believe it, and I could never do it with Googles character limit. You might be able to get your hockey gear a tad cheaper on line (doubt it, but maybe) but the service you will get is worth double the price.
