This was a better place 2 yrs ago. It lost its charm and I don’t recommend it anymore

We've been here many times for lunch after hitting the Farmer's Market and have always had wonderful experiences. This time, not so much. Server came to our table to greet is 10 minutes after we sat down, and after she greeted and took orders from 2 tables who arrived well after us. The menu had changed considerably, with fewer selections. Food took a long time to get to us but was hot and very good. They appeared to be understaffed and weren't as friendly as in the past.

I've been to this place many times, and am not impressed. I went more than once because of the live music, but their food is mediocre compared to their prices. If I have to pay a lot of money for a chicken sandwich that is overcooked in old oil, then i'd go to McDonald's. The food looks high end, but the place is a hipster joint. If I'm going to pay high end prices for mediocre food, I'd take myself to Meritage where the food is worth the price. Their fries are good. They had a really good bartender, but he is no longer there. *Sad face*. Management, or owners (whoever they are) have anger issues. I had a reserved a large group (15) on a Sunday (not busy. There were 20 people maybe. That's including my party) to eat brunch there and when we all ordered food, half of our condiments weren't given to us (maybe because she was doing the server's job), and when we were asking the owner for things needed (like ketchup, hot sauce, a fork) her energy changed for the worst and the smile faded into a scowl. Let's just say, she didn't come back to the table and had our actual server do her freaking job.

Great space for casual time out. Not too crowded. Fair prices. Friendly and attentive staff.

What a disappointment. They should have chosen a new name at the time of their makeover, because the place resembles none of it's former identity. This is no longer a coffee shop, and everything is full-service. I wish I had gotten to order the gluten-free bagel that they used to have before they nixed it. Parking is very expensive on-street, and the restaurant itself is expensive too. I do like that they have live music here, and I've wanted to come back some time when a group is actually here. I will hopefully be back here for that at some point. At least the music is still cheap it sounds like (for now).
