Probably the most astounding thing about this lunchtime dining experience is that - less than 5 minutes after ordering our lunches (we both had the Turkey Dinner) it was delivered to the table.
Is there a better place for breakfast? Not in my book. Huge pancakes and other classic breakfast fare. Attentive waiters/waitresses make for a pleasant breakfast
Our waitress was very nice and the gentleman prepping our table was the best!...but we didn't get visited often...our waitress forgot a drink order...but...the food was good! My food was NOT "over salted" like so many other places do....my omelet had turkey in it....and it was REAL UNPROCESSED TURKEY! Nice!!! And they have a real strawberry jam!
Best breakfast around. Their breakfast is so so great! Their regular breakfast is delicious, but my favorite is their caramel and cinnamon rolls. We always get them! Highly recommend!
My wife has to be Gluten free....and our waitress did have answers to what she could eat! A big plus!
Service was good. Our serving lady was quick, efficient, attentive, polite. (We sit in the front area looking out to Robert Avenue 08/11/2017 - but I don't recall her name.) At some point a couple beyond our ages came in and was seated near us. I witnessed profound kindness from our waitress when she stooped down next to the booth of this couple and she carefully and thoroughly went over the menu with the lady of this couple. The man with her seemed to be having some difficulty in determining what she'd like for lunch. In short order this exceptional waitress had it figured out and placed the orders for this couple. She (the server) may think her exceptional kindness went unnoticed - IT DIDN'T! I only wish I'd have asked her name so she could be properly praised for her wanton act of kindness, care, and concern today.
Great food great desserts great service. Comfortable feel. Many regulars. One of my favorites in the twin cities. Family owned. Loyal staff. If you haven't been to keys u don't know the twin cities
If I could give 4.5 stars I would....it was just about perfect!
