Christmas tea in the lobby was wonderful as usual. The food is well presented and tasty. The staff is super attentive and always available for refills or special requests. We have been to tea eight years now and already have reservations for next year. Thank you St Paul Hotel for a wonderful family tradition.
A taste of luxury. This Hotel is the Crown Jewel of St. Paul. From the second you step out of your car and greeted by the Concierge Doorman, you know you are in the right place. This historic abode is representative of master craftsmanship of days gone bye. From the marble pillars to the dark oak lined fine restaurants. The rooms are impeccable and the main bar has the largest selection of spirits that this writer has ever witnessed. There is much more to praise, but I will let that to be your review.
Ate at the St. Paul Grill bar. Fantastic food, every bit as good as the restaurant proper. It was a Saturday evening around 5:00 PM and was very busy due to the Wild game. The bar menu has the major items from the regular restaurant menu including the steak's. The ribeye I ordered was cooked to perfection and the side of hash browns for the table were equally good. The 7 layer chocolate cake special was to die for for any chocolate lover.
I didn’t stay there BUT I saw something that I can’t wait to take my little to... they have a high tea. It was a bit pricey but the fun formality and the option of attending a child only version holds great appeal!! If you’re looking for a special child friendly activity I would suggest checking out the kid high tea... it’s certainly a special occasion event as the price runs about $50-55.
Went to The Saint Paul Hotel for brunch and it was outstanding. I recommend making reservations ahead of time. Parking is available in a ramp that is less than a block away. The service was great and out waiter was extremely nice. However, it was the food that stood out. All of it was made fresh, including the desert table. The price per plate for brunch was expensive, but I would return since it was a great experience
